Garment Care & Washing
Can I wash my HeeetUp™ items ?
Yes. All HeeetUp heated jackets, vests, and hoodies are machine-washable. Just remove the battery, zip up all pockets, and place the garment inside a mesh laundry bag before washing.
What wash settings should I use?
Use cold water, gentle cycle, and mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners or bleach, as they may damage the heating elements and fabric.
Can I put my garment in the dryer?
Air-dry only. Do not tumble dry, wring, or twist. Lay the garment flat or hang it until completely dry before reconnecting the battery.
Do I need to take special care of the heating panels?
No extra steps are needed beyond normal washing instructions. The heating panels are designed to be flexible and durable as long as proper washing and drying methods are followed.
Battery Use & Storage
How should I store the battery when not in use?
Store your HeeetUp battery in a cool, dry place. If you won’t be using it for more than a month, charge it to around 50 to 60 percent before storage to maintain long-term health.
Is it safe to use third-party chargers or power banks?
Use only the official HeeetUp charger or high-quality, certified chargers. Low-quality or unregulated chargers can cause battery degradation or pose safety risks.
How long does the battery last before needing replacement?
With proper care, most HeeetUp batteries maintain strong performance for several hundred charge cycles. Reduced runtime over time is normal and indicates natural battery aging.
Can I use the garment while the battery is charging?
No. Always disconnect the battery before charging. Never operate the garment while the battery is plugged into a charger.
Safety & Troubleshooting
What should I do if the garment does not heat up?
First, check that the battery is fully charged and securely connected. Make sure the power button on the garment is pressed firmly for 2 to 3 seconds. If it still doesn’t power on, try another charging cable or contact HeeetUp support.
Is HeeetUp gear safe to wear in light rain or snow?
Yes. All HeeetUp heated garments are designed to be worn outdoors and are resistant to light moisture. However, avoid submerging the garment in water or exposing the battery to heavy rainfall.
What if I notice unusual heat or discomfort?
Turn off the garment immediately and disconnect the battery. After cooling, inspect for any visible damage. If discomfort continues, discontinue use and reach out to HeeetUp customer care.
can I travel with my HeeetUp battery on airplanes?
Yes. HeeetUp batteries meet standard travel guidelines and can be carried onto most flights. Airline rules vary, so check specific lithium battery limits before traveling.
